“Healthy Futures Start Today” is the motto of doctors Vigen Zargarian and Anna Mekikyan’s pediatric practice which opened in August of 2014 near the corner of Honolulu Avenue and Verdugo Road at 2048 Montrose Avenue. Dr. Zargarian, who is a graduate of the Harvard School of Public Health and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics, has thirty eight years of experience in the field. He has been a favorite of the Glendale community for the past sixteen years. Dr. Mekikyan joined the practice in 2006.
They have now moved their busy and admired practice to the Montrose area. While the location change has been a bit of an adjustment for their 4000+ patients and their parents, the vast majority are thrilled to see the newly-renovated office with its bright walls and colorful exam rooms. “We have always loved the Montrose area and community and are very happy to be able to continue our practice in this great location,” says Dr. Zargarian. The patients seem to agree. “They have new toys here!” exclaimed four-year-old Andrew who was playing in the waiting room with his mom while waiting to get vaccinated. The other parents in the office were happy to find a separate waiting room for healthy children, to prevent the spreading of viruses from one child to another. Overall, Montrose Pediatrics is off to a great start. The doctors, patients, and staff all agree that the move to Montrose has allowed this longtime pediatric practice to continue to provide its growing patient base with the same level of care and service they have come to expect, in a more convenient and significantly improved environment.
